It’s on a 2022 C8 corvette with a Procharger installed by Paragon Performance. Started out in Sport mode 5 as suggested but backed it off to Comfort mode 4. I can’t believe how retarded the factory pedal is. Seems like I picked up more HP even though I didn’t. Sooo much more responsive, shifts better, crisper, carries the gear a little longer, and downshifts are more noticeable it seems. In Z mode I’ve never experienced it this lively before, tuff to keep your out of it. It feels like I have a different ‘better’ performing car and I’m not even into the more aggressive modes yet. I installed the Soler throttle body yesterday in my 2019 C7 Stingray Automatic - and I am totally surprised how it makes such a difference in the personality of the car during the first 2 or 3 inches (per tech specs 0% to 30%) of gas pedal travel... ! This car always felt “sleepy” or like it had a small bog until it reached 2+k RPM’s - not terrible, but not spirited.

By only changing the throttle body - to the size that does not require a new tune - my car is now “woken up” in that 0% to 30% of travel range. (wanted to preserve my warranty by not having to do a tune which the larger bodies likely require)
I actually feel like the car has more confidence pulling out in traffic from a stop. Now from the moment i press the gas pedal, the car just goes in what strikes me as a linear fashion,, it’s not scary fast or out of control - but just confident and “on rails”... not sure if its just in my mind or in reality - but i swear it feels like when i accelerate at that low range of throttle, the car would down shift more often prior to the change - now it just goes without downshifting. Tip for those with a son, daughter or even spouse - wait for them to have an extra half hour and install it together (15 mins to find the tools and 15 mins to do the install). I actually waited 4 MONTHS for my son to visit so we could do that together - never been that patient in my life! small aside: Last month I was at Spring Mountain and on their track, of course the car takes off - basically you “just floor it every chance you get” (Literally!) - there you are not in the first 30% of travel very often for very long. But in daily driving - i never realized how much time is spent in that initial range of gas pedal travel - and that’s where this TB shines and you smile. Alot.
Anyone who has a C7 that has not added this - or is partnered with someone who hasn’t - hint hint - Just Get the darn thing and put it in! Then smile.

Complete transformation of the car in first and reverse from a standing start. You can actually get the car moving in reverse with no throttle input. First gear is nearly as effortless. A nice little uptick in mpg as well. Installation does take a lot of patience and force applied in just the right spot to reconnect the first piece to the TB. I had to use a heat gun a grease to make sure it’d stretch over the larger Soler tb. Otherwise, super happy with everything. ”

“I took a test drive after the install.
I was all smiles and giggles...

I got on a long stretch of road (no traffic) with the gentle throttle acceleration, then switched modes on the controller from Eco to normal then to P1, P2 and P3. Each mode changes the characteristics of the car. It’s like increasing the urgency, or releasing the power of the beast more and more each mode. By P3, the car feels so responsive and that it wants to move forward in a hurry. I didn’t want to run past speed limit so I had to back out my throttle by this time... it just wanted to keep accelerating...

I’d like to thank Mike for offering the ported throttle body and now this controller. Now I understand what Mike said about TB and TC are different and that they complement each other.

For those who are still thinking, just get these and you won’t regret it!
Not to mention that Mike’s service is second to none!

“I was in similar quandary as many of you even after reading all the positive forum reviews of Soler TB&TC. Turns out Soler is about a mile from our daughter’s home in Daphne. I visited earlier this month and dropped in on Mike and Lewis at Soler. Great guys. Told Mike I was pretty happy with way my base 2016 C7 A8 ran and wasn’t sure I would notice a difference. Mike answered by offering a drive in his C7. We started with just TB, it was nice and a noticeable difference, but don’t think the A8 has the “stumble” issue many M7 guys mention. Then we combined the TC with the TB and Wow, what a change. I bought both, came home and installed. Been driving it almost a month now and all I can say is, GO FOR IT! So much more fun to drive the car. Have let two other Corvette owners drive, one a ‘19 GS other C6, both raved about the drive. Sooo, if you are undecided like I was and think maybe just forum guys trying to justify (in their own minds and to others) their purchase, not to worry. I installed the Soler LT5 throttle body with the included adapter earlier today. The product shows great workmanship and esthetics as to its custom parts and modifications. No issues whatsoever, no CEL or any unexpected weirdness; for the record, the car had already been tuned for the standard LT5 TB.

After the full reset (battery disconnect overnight) and idle+throttle position learning procedure described in the instructions, there was an immediate, but not very pronounced difference during the first mile. Then as I proceeded further and further into the test drive, it got progressively better, after 30-40 miles the initial dead spot is apparently gone, yet—and best of all—the car isn’t “lurchy” or undriveable.

Still haven’t finished the learning process, but partial throttle response already feels the way I would’ve expected from day one ”

“The Soler PTB is a significant improvement over OEM and feels like a noticable improvement over the previous PTB. Acceleration is smooth through the entire throttle range. WOT was fun but street tires and dusty roads make a direct comparison difficult. I wanted to collect some actual performance data but that’s hard to do with current state restrictions and I didn’t want to wait to install the reworked PTB. Hopefully we will get through this soon and tracks will open back up so I can see how this improves my time at a track. Overall I’m very happy with the reworked PTB and the support from Mike. “Test drove this morning. All I can say is WOW! The combination of TB and TC did make a huge difference.
Adding the TB felt like filling in a pothole to avoid the initial “dip” when pressing the gas pedal. Now, adding the TC on top of that makes the throttle feel a lot more intuitive, more like a properly adjusted cable throttle. It’s more linear and more responsive. I do have to re-learn the throttle control going through some of the turns, adapting the newly mapped curves. Also going to try different settings as I only tested SP.1, SP.3 and SP.5 this morning.”
